Frequently Asked Questions

Clarity precedes execution. Straight answers on registration, safety, coaching, and how events get confirmed.

Yes, you'll set up a secure parent profile, where you will then be able to link each child individually (name, age, and other relevant details like emergency contact/medical notes). There is no separate login needed for kids; all bookings and payments run through your parent account.

The fee covers ground hire costs and miscellaneous administration fees. GST is calculated and displayed separately on an invoice (10%, as per Australian requirements). You see exactly what you're paying for before you checkout.

You can see how many children are already registered at a given ground or event, helping you gauge whether it's likely to run. For privacy reasons, we will not release private details of other registered families, solely the number of players.

All coaches must aquire a Working With Children Check (WWCC). You'll need to provide your WWCC number, expiry date, card type and upload supporting ID/documentation. Until that's verified, you will not have access to team rosters or match dashboards, even if you've signed up to volunteer. Coaching turns can either be arranged informally between parents or assigned automatically on a round-robin basis (e.g., one week at a time) to keep things fair.

An event only gets booked and confirmed once a minimum number of registrations are recieved. If that threshold isn't reached, rescheduling options will follow. We will allow our users to reschedule their games within 60-day period. Refunds are not provided to players. Exceptional circumstances will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Once your event is confirmed, you'll get the details sent to your registered contact info via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram (or email/SMS, depending on final channel setup). You may be able to set preferences for which channels you want to hear from.

Once the minimum number of registrations is satisfied, the system groups them into teams of roughly 6 to 8 players, classified by age (and school group, where relevant). A round-robin scheduler then assigns matches across teams and available time slots/fields. If there's an odd number of teams, a bye week is built in rather than leaving anyone out.

Yes. While venue registration counts are visible to other parents for planning purposes, no personal details such as names, medical notes and contact info of other families are ever shared. Coach access to rosters is also protected behind WWCC verification, enforced at the system level rather than just hidden in the app. Children under the age of 16 will have a nickname assigned to them by a parent and this will be displayed.
